Moto2 | Gp Brno FP1: Lowes the fastest, Manzi excellent sixth
Five Italians in the Top Ten of the Moto1 FP2 in Brno
Moto2 GP Czech Republic Brno Free Practice 1 – Sam Lowes achieved the best time in the first free practice session of the Moto2 class Czech Grand Prix, scheduled for Sunday in Brno.
The Team Marc VDS driver, who set the best lap with a time of 2:02.480, preceded Joe Roberts (American Racing), Tetsuta Nagashima (Red Bull Ajo) and team-mate Fernández. Fifth time for the German Marcel Schrotter (Intact GP).
From sixth to eleventh position we find six Italians, in order: Stefano Manzi (MV Agusta), the winner of Jerez 2 Enea Bastianini (Team Italtrans), Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team Pons), Marco Bezzecchi (Sky Racing Team VR46), Fabio Di Giannantonio (Speed Up) and Luca Marini (Sky Racing Team VR46).
Nicolò Bulega with Team Gresini's Kalex is thirteenth while Simone Corsi with MV Agusta is eighteenth.
