Moto2 GP Malaysia Sepang Free Practice 2 – The Moto2 class riders took to the track in Sepang for the second free practice session of the Malaysian Grand Prix, the eighteenth and penultimate stage of the 2019 MotoGP World Championship, which will end on November 17th at the Ricardo Tormo in Valencia.
The best time in FP2 was set by rookie Jorge Martin, who stopped the clock on the KTM of Team Red Bull Ajo at a time of 2:05.968.
The 2018 world champion in the Moto3 class preceded the Japanese Tetsuta Nagashima by 0.229s and the world championship leader Alex Marquez by 0.360s, in turn ahead of team-mate Brad Binder.
Fifth time for Jorge Navarro's Speed Up, followed by the Swiss Thomas Luthi, the Speed Up rookie Fabio Di Giannantonio and Xavi Vierge.
Mattia Pasini (Tasca Racing) is ninth and ahead of Augusto Fernandez, Sam Lowes, Marcel Schrotter, Remy Gardner and Luca Marini, the last of the drivers to enter provisional Q2.
