Four Italians in the Top Ten of the Moto1 FP2 at Silverstone
Moto2 British GP Silverstone Free Practice 1 – Fabio Di Giannantonio set the best time in the first free practice session of the Moto2 class at Silverstone, theater of the British Grand Prix, twelfth stage of the 2019 MotoGP.
The Speed Up driver who lapped in 2:05.777 preceded team-mate Jorge Navarro by just 83 thousandths and the Kalex of Team Dynavolt Intact GP of the Swiss Thomas Luthi by 0.136s.
Alex Marquez (Marc VDS) set the fourth fastest time ahead of Australian Remy Gardner (SAG Team) and three Italians, Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team Pons), Luca Marini (Sky Racing Team VR46) and Mattia Pasini
(Tasca Racing).
Closing out the Top Ten are Augusto Fernandez and Brad Binder. Stefano Manzi (MV Agusta) is 15th, Andrea Locatelli (Team Italtrans) 21st, Marco Bezzecchi (KTM Tech 3) 22nd, Nicolò Bulega (Sky Racing Team VR46) 23rd, while Enea Bastianini, struggling with pain in his foot caused by the fall started in Austria by Luca Marini is 25th.
