Moto2 German GP Free Practice 3 – South African Brad Binder set the best time in Free Practice 3 of the Moto2 class at the Sachsenring, the track where the German Grand Prix is scheduled for tomorrow, the ninth stage of the 2019 MotoGP.
The KTM rider who lapped in 1:23.876 is ahead of the Kalex of Thomas Luthi's Team Dynavolt Intact GP and that of Remy Gardner's SAG Team; the two are separated by 0.167s and 0.179s respectively.
Fourth and fifth times for the Kalexes of Team Pons of Augusto Fernandez and our Lorenzo Baldassarri, who in turn precede the Kalex of home rider Marcel Schrotter (Team Dynavolt Intact GP) and the KTM of 2018 Moto3 class champion Jorge Martin .
Eighth time for another rookie, our Fabio Di Giannantonio, riding the Speed Up. “Diggia” is ahead of the Dutchman Bo Bendsneyder, the Spaniard Iker Lecuona and his compatriot from the Sky Racing Team VR46 Nicolò Bulega, also a rookie in the category.
Tetsuta Nagashima, Andrea Locatelli and Xavi Vierge also enter Q2 directly, the latter with the time recorded yesterday.
In Q1 among the big names are world leader Alex Marquez, Luca Marini and rookie Enea Bastianini.
