Moto-e Max Biaggi Mugello – The electric motorbike championship is slowly coming to life and is preparing for its debut, set for 2019. Already in the first two MotoGP races, the motorbike that will be used for the full electric championship took part in some demonstration laps before the race .

In Qatar it was Simon Crafar who took the Energica Ego Corsa to the track, while in Argentina local idol Sebastian Porto completed a couple of demo laps.

On the occasion of the Italian Grand Prix, at Mugello, Max Biaggi will bring the electric motorbike to the track. The Roman driver himself revealed it in an interview given to the ElectricMotorNews website.

The "privateer", present in Rome for a few laps driving the Formula e, said he had already tried an electric motorbike twenty years ago: “It was a motorbike made by Eng. Fazi, but now let's talk about higher engines and powers. I've tried a formula and, and the boost they have is incredible. You can't hear the noise but the thrust is there and it's notable.”

“In June, before the MotoGP race, I will do two demonstration laps with the electric motorbike, there is a lot of anticipation. I know the circuit very well, trying an electric motorbike is a different emotion and I'm happy to try it.”

“When I tried the electric motorbike it was a prototype, it weighed over 300 kg and didn't have this kind of power, there will definitely be a leap forward, so there is also a lot of curiosity.”
