Michelin, Dunlop or Bridgestone? the puzzle of the Red-Bull Yamaha Team
The Red-Bull Yamaha Team took to the track in Sepang to resolve the doubts surrounding the choice of tires for next season.
Both drivers on track with the very confirmed Gary McCoy and the American John Hopkins riding the Yamaha Yzr 500.
The tests will be used exclusively for the choice of tires which will probably be Dunlops and in any case it is also an opportunity for the rookie American driver to gain confidence.
Garry McCoy also lapped and Peter Clifford Team Manager of the team said he was satisfied with both drivers.
McCoy in particular lapped easily and with his particular driving style he is putting the Dunlop tires to the test.
The tests will continue until December 5th then the Yamaha squad will arrive in Sepang with Max Biaggi e Carlos Checa is developing the new one with comforting results Yamaha M1 which will run next year in the 'MotoGP'.
