While Honda and Yamaha have already tested their 4-stroke bikes, Suzuki and Aprilia have yet to………..

As we all know, Honda and Yamaha have already tested their 4-stroke motorcycles with more than satisfactory results.

Suzuki and Aprilia, on the other hand, have yet to hit the track and this could be a disadvantage for the development of their respective bikes.

Aprilia will test at the end of January with both riders and that is Regis Laconi and the tester Marcellino Lucchi.

The bike presented at the Bologna Motor Show only ran on the dyno (around 200 hp) but has yet to give a response on the track;

let's remember that Aprilia, unlike the Japanese manufacturers, has chosen the 3-cylinder to take advantage of the lower weight imposed by the regulations on this type of engine.

Suzuki, which was initially determined to continue with the 2-stroke, will instead take to the Ryuyo track on January 15th with both riders Kenny roberts e Sete Gibernau.

We will see in the end who will be right but the battle of the debut undoubtedly goes to Yamaha which already during the last championship had tested the bike Max Biaggi e Carlos Checa.

Speaking of Yamaha, on Friday 11th at the Rolling Stones in Milan the team that will take part in the next championship will be presented 'MotoGP'.

As everyone now knows, Yamaha has moved its racing department to Lombardy under the leadership of Davide Brivio e Fiorenzo Fanali.
