Lucio Cecchinello is the fastest in Saturday's 125 free practice in Jerez

Lucio Cecchinello took the lead in Saturday's free practice in the 125 class.

The Aprilia rider lapped half a second faster than Poggiali's pole time.

Without a doubt the track was cleaner today than yesterday, but it is still true that Cecchinello went really fast.

Together with him, Daniel Pedrosa also performed good tests, placing himself in second position.

Alex de Angelis, 4th and Gino Borsoi, 6th also did well.
