Loris: ”Problems with the set-up”

It was a bad day: that 1” gap from McCoy hurts me a lot and doesn't correspond to the true values ​​on the track. Unfortunately today I encountered several set-up problems due to the wind and the track which, as usual, was difficult to interpret.

I had the biggest problems when cornering, a fundamental part of setting a lap time, where I couldn't find speed and get the vehicle on the line I wanted.

Not bad: in the meeting that took place after the tests we found, together with the track engineers, some solutions to apply in qualifying. We discussed a lot and in the end I think we are close to the solution that will allow us to straighten out today's times.

As for the author of today's pole, namely Garry McCoy, I can say that he was very good and that the Le Mans track suits his very particular driving style perfectly: Garry, in fact, is at ease in the "slow" slopes while having difficulty on fast slopes. In short, in addition to Valentino, Abe and Max, tomorrow and Sunday there will be one more opponent for me!
