The VR46 Riders Academy has defined the 2018 programs

VR46 Riders Academy 2018 – With four races left until the end of the season, the VR46 Riders Academy has announced its plans for the next season. Four years after its birth, Valentino Rossi's Academy will bring a rider to MotoGP for the first time, Franco Morbidelli, who will be riding the Honda of Team Marc VDS.

In the other classes and also thanks to the support of Sky, the riders will be lined up as follows: Francesco Bagnaia and Luca Marini will be riding the Kalex in the Moto2 class and will defend the colors of Team Sky VR46. With the same colors, but in the Moto3 class on the track the confirmed Nicolò Bulega and the current CEV leader Dennis Foggia. Celestino Vietti Ramus, 16 years old on October 13th, will instead continue his growth path in the CEV, ready to reap the fruits of this already positive debut season, also dreaming, like Foggia, of moving to the world championship.

Stefano Manzi will be riding the Forward Racing Kalex Moto2, taking over the baton left by Lorenzo Baldassarri, who will instead join the Pons Rancing team.

As for the other riders in the Moto3 class, Andrea Migno will race with Team Aspar, while Niccolò Antonelli will play at home, seeking redemption with Team SIC58 Squadra Corse and Marco Bezzecchi will move to the PrüstelGP team on KTM.
