Spain celebrates Fonsi Nieto, winner in the 250 class, splendid second place for Roberto Rolfo who finally reaches the podium

Fonsi Nieto is therefore the fastest rider in the 250.

The Spaniard from Aprilia won his home GP after a tough battle with the Italian Roberto Rolfo.

An excellent performance was therefore achieved by the Honda rider, who finished 2nd and, after a race entirely in the lead, suffered Nieto's attack and was unable to hinder his enthusiasm.

Double fall for Melandri and Battaini; the latter, however, manages to get back on track and grab fourth position.
