Kawasaki Racing Team riders Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes revealed the new Ninja ZX-10RR to the public at the Intermoto motorcycle show in Cologne, Germany: thanks to the successes achieved on the track, the Japanese manufacturer has once again decided to apply the technology developed in the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship to the road.

The Ninja ZX-10RR is a motorcycle created and developed to achieve high performance on the track and offer exclusivity on the road, even in design, with the RR logo on the right side of the engine which recalls the winter test livery, with black and white .

With the modified cylinder head there is enough space to accommodate the cams and this improves reliability. The RR also benefits from DLC-covered tappets to reduce mechanical losses. In terms of chassis upgrades, it has new Marchesini forged lightweight aluminum rims that reduce weight and help increase handling, while the combination of Brembo M50 monobloc calipers, Brembo discs and a steel-tube radial master cylinder improve braking performance .

The ZX-10RR also features a KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter) gearbox with automatic system for changing gear without using the clutch, the Showa fork and the BFRC lite mono with two-way reservoir which offers a wide range of adjustment to adapt to any environment, on the road or on the track.

Furthermore, the ZX-10RR is equipped with the IMU which offers six degrees of measurement of the orientation of the bike and an impressive number of advanced rider aids including latest generation traction control, electronic engine brake control, launch control, anti-lock system of KMCF brakes and cornering.

Exclusivity not only in components and performance, but also in numbers: the ZX-10RR will only be distributed in 500 units throughout Europe.
