“The most significant news for my M1 compared to the Barcelona tests is a new chassis, slightly better than the previous one. Now the bike corners a little better even if it remains too slow when changing direction and exiting slow corners.

The effect of the engine braking then has too much impact on entry and doesn't allow me to be as fast as I would like. I rode a few laps behind Ukawa and I realized that he doesn't have this problem because he could brake much later without disrupting the bike in the slightest.

This is another point on which we must concentrate our efforts. Tomorrow, however, we will continue to work on setting up the new chassis.

We can certainly still improve and today I could have been faster if I hadn't preferred to concentrate my efforts on setting the bike up as best as possible."
