Rossi, Biaggi and Capirossi's comments on the Irta tests in Catalunya

Valentino Rossi This is how he comments on the two days of IRTA testing in Barcelona aboard his RCV 211:

“Much of the credit for the success in these first comparative tests goes to the excellent work of the Team in Sepang.

I must say that before the bike was very different and I wasn't entirely satisfied.

But now almost everything has been resolved.

We still need to discuss some details and correct a couple of flaws, but I can definitely say that thanks to Honda's contribution, big steps forward have been made."

The tone is different Max Biaggi, who talks about his Yamaha M1 with a hint of dejection:

“These Catalunya tests didn't help us much.

Undoubtedly our bike is inferior to the others due to various technical problems... we are not ready yet.

Now we are waiting for the arrival of new parts, but I believe that a real turning point can only happen during the tests we will do in Suzuka the week before the start of the MotoGP.

As for me, I am working hard, even if in these conditions there is little that can be done.

We hope to improve, otherwise this will not be the way to go to Heaven."

Here is finally the comment of the other Italian driver Loris Capirossi:

“I have to say that I immediately felt good with the bike.

I have the desire and what it takes to win this world championship and you can expect maximum commitment from me.

I think that Rossi is a great rider and the fact that he has the best bike in the championship on his side undoubtedly makes him a formidable opponent.

But I'm not complaining.

This year I want to do a lot and to achieve the goals I have set for myself, I have a team at my disposal that I can always count on and that gives its all in every situation."
