Melandri and Rolfo's immediate comments after the official 250 on Friday in Spain

Marco Melandri:

“We finished the test session with a fairly hard tire to try to understand what the right choice could be for tomorrow and for the race. Tomorrow I won't obsessively try to reach pole.

The most important thing is to start among the first; first or second makes little difference to me.

However, pole here wouldn't be bad, given that I've never achieved very good results in Jerez; but the important thing is to be ready with the bike to have a good race."

Roberto Rolfo:

“Of course this wasn't the placing I expected to get today, however I certainly can't complain too much.


This morning we had some chassis problems which we tried to resolve this afternoon.

In any case, we have taken the right path and tomorrow morning we will do further tests to make sure we can have a good qualifying."
