Hernandez: “Proud to represent Colombia in the world”

Author of a first and fifth time in Friday's free practice held in the rain Yonny Hernandez he was the man on the opening day of the Misano weekend.

“I have always gone fast in the wet, even in Moto 2 – declared the rider Ducati Pramac during a Bridgestone round table – Let's say that this bike, still a bit in difficulty regarding the engine but stronger than last season in the electronics, behaves very well in slippery conditions and allows you to feel at ease and push at the limit. I'm happy with the result because despite the dangerous surface I always managed to stay on my feet, I didn't make any mistakes and I kept a good pace, I think so I hope for a Q2 qualifying and a top 10 race.

So in general about the season he revealed: “Every time I get on the track I learn something. On the other hand, for me this is the first year in a professional team so I am aware that I still have a lot to do to reach a high level".

Finally on his Colombian origins: “In my country few people ride motorbikes and the series is only broadcast on cable TV, so when I realized that I wanted to do this job I had to move to Spain. To date, however, interest in the discipline is growing, so it is a great honor to know that I am the first Latin American driver and that I am representing my flag in the world."
