CIV: the Gresini Racing Team for the first time in the CIV
A single supply chain from the Italian Championship to MotoGP
Gresini Racing Team – for the first time in its twenty-year history the Gresini Racing Team appears in the Italian Speed Championship, Moto 3 category.
This choice confirms what is characteristic of very few structures present in motorcycling: that of the supply chain. In fact, from today, the Gresini Racing Team will not only be present in all the classes of the MotoGP - Moto 3, Moto 2, MotoGP - but will have three riders on the starting grid of the Italian Championship.
It is Antony Groppi (1997), driver with three years of experience in the Civ, one victory and four podiums. On his CV he can also boast two wild cards in the MotoGP.
Tommaso Marcon (1999), also an expert for the national team with 16 races under his belt and a second place as his best finish.
Luca Gresini – seventeen year old son of Fausto Gresini – at his absolute debut.
