CEV Moto3 Jerez Race 2: Photo finish for Maria Herrera and Fabio Quartararo

The second Moto3 heat on the Jerez de la Frontera circuit recently ended with a photo finish, which left the winner in doubt for a few minutes.

Even in race 2 the Junior Team Estrella Galicia 0.0 demonstrated that it has no rivals. Having started in the lead, Quartararo and Herrera soon made a gap behind them, and played for the victory in a close but fair head-to-head.
In the end it was Herrera who came out on top, losing the lead at the start of the last lap and then regaining it with an act of strength a few meters from the finish line, ahead of her teammate by just 11 thousandths.

Third, seven seconds behind, our Andrea Migno, who closes the first race weekend with a podium.
In seventh place we find Nicolò Bulega, and tenth, completing the top ten, is Stefano Manzi with his Mahindra.
Once again a slip for Luca Marini, who however restarts and finishes fourteenth.
Davide Pizzoli closes the Italian ranking, thirty-fourth with the KTM of the DVRACING-BZM team.
