Italy triumphs at the CEV, the Spanish speed championship which was held today in Catalunya, winning in Moto3 with Francis Bagnaia. Second came Alex Marquez, who preceded the German Luca Amato who finishes 3rd, ahead of another Italian, Lorenzo Baldassarri. The Italians therefore clearly beat the Spaniards at home. These are very important results because the Iberian baby phenomena who are dominating in Moto2 and Moto3 in recent years all come from the CEV.

The Moto3 race was truly spectacular, just look at the finishing order, the top 4 are within 4 tenths of a second. Francesco Bagnaia, born in Turin in 97, won on his Honda from Emilio Alzamora's team, starting from pole position and beating, among other things, Marc Marquez's little brother, Alex, who here in Catalunya had raced in the world championship race, finishing in 6th place ahead of our Fenati and Antonelli, therefore the Italian certainly didn't win against stationary riders.

It's truly an excellent result for the Italian motorcycle movement, in crisis in recent years of results, especially in the minor categories, the land of conquest of the Italian riders until just over 5 years ago.
