Aragon: Loris Capirossi riding the electric SP7

Capirossi tested the Saroléa SP7 on the Spanish circuit of Aragon

Last Thursday, during the MotoGP weekend in Aragon, Loris Capirossi tested the Saroléa SP7 in a private test session under the watchful eyes of Dorna CEO, Carmelo Ezpeleta.

Dorna's plans for the new electric motorcycle racing series will begin in 2019 and will be held on some European circuits alongside MotoGP and is initially for three years.

Loris Capirossi said he was very satisfied with the control and management of the SP7. “Loris Capirossi seemed impressed by the character of the engines and the relatively low weight of the bike” – said Bjorn Robbens. “He has already tried other electric motorbikes and found them heavier. We are competing with Lightning, the Italian company Energica and probably one of Mahindra or KTM.”

Dorna is expected to communicate its partner's decision by the end of next month.

In short, as with Formula E, I am looking for the most suitable and economical accessory to race, the same accessory for everyone (otherwise it is not... sporty) and without technological development (too expensive, F1 teaches).
In short, a true "modern sporting competition", or rather we should say a true motoring show as they have been educating us in recent years.
