At Mugello to put on a show

The Mugello track extends within the Tuscan hills and was bought by Ferrari in 1988 to complete its tests. Divided almost in half between straight sections and fast downhill and uphill curves, it is quite spectacular for drivers and spectators.

It is the race most felt by Italian riders and given that we are also strong I am sure that the spectacle, and the battle, will be guaranteed. I won last year and I wouldn't mind repeating myself in front of my fans, even if it will be tough.

My NSR500 doesn't have the same speed as the factory Honda and on this track there is a rather long straight where I will definitely be penalised.

ROUND
The straight is in sixth gear, you brake to enter the first corner, passing into second. You stay in second until halfway through the S, then third, fourth and second again to face the Materassi in second, third to enter the Casanova Savelli, still third at the entrance to Arrabbiata 1 then fourth until the top of the hill.

Second again to do the right-left then third up to Correntaio then second, third for the S, fourth, fifth and then you get to Bucine where you enter third. Fourth and off to the finish line opening fifth and sixth.
