The evolution of the Aprilia Rs3 continues in Rio
MS Aprilia Racing, together with riders Shaker Byrne and Jeremy McWilliams, stopped at the Rio de Janeiro circuit to carry out some tests on the Aprilia RSCubes involved in the MotoGP world championship.
The two riders completed 120 laps to test new chassis components, such as a new fork supplied by Ohlins and a new swingarm.
In addition to these components, a new evolution step for the engine was tested, which gave good results.
The drivers, who scrupulously followed the team's instructions, made the best passes in 1'52"68 for Shane Byrne (66 laps completed) and in 1'51"8 for Jeremy McWilliams (54 laps completed), favoring verification technique rather than absolute performance.
Now all the material is on its way to Germany, where the next grand prix will take place in 12 days on the Sachsenring circuit.
