The Ducati team, having sobered up from yesterday's beautiful and unexpected podium won by Valentino Rossi at Misano, immediately returned to the track, again on the Romagna track to test a new frame and a new swingarm. This time, unlike the test at the end of August, Nicky Hayden also took to the track, having missed out because he was dealing with the after-effects of his injury in Indy. Filippo Prezosi was also present at the test and stated that the data collected will be useful not only for these last races of the championship, also to prepare the 2013 chassis.

It was a very useful test – Preziosi said – We had prepared a frame identical to the one used yesterday in the race in terms of geometry, and modified in terms of stiffness: Valentino gave us "feedback" that will allow us to plan an evolution with the positive characteristics that it highlighted, and which correspond to what we expected from the calculations made, without losing precision. We also had a different swingarm which Valentino liked and which we will therefore bring to Aragon. Nicky made a first comparison between the pre-Misano frame and swingarm and those used by Valentino yesterday. His first comment was positive but we will have to confirm it in Aragon when his physical condition is better. Based on the data collected today we are accelerating the production of the next "step" of the chassis which could arrive before Valencia".

    So the test was done with the race frame but with different stiffnesses? but Rossi didn't say that he isn't that great with this frame... well!

    He also said that next year, thanks to him, Audi, etc., etc., the bike will be much better than now... And that troubled soul Graziano has made matters worse!!! Here, these are the attitudes of Rossi and his clan who make me dislike Valentino. And yet when he drives as he knows how, I have to say that he is strong. But he has already put his hands forward!!!

      There was no need to read it somewhere...it's something typical of those who feel like God...the strange thing is that it's not the Rossian Taliban who support this but it's THE PILOT WITH THE WHOLE CLAN!!!..i Rossiani just believes it...and so it will end with the following epilogue "..all Ducati's fault...if only they had listened to Vale first, at this point they had two more world championships..." and in that case Ducati next year will have a good championship will you know who will have the only credit? Obviously Rossi's... although I believe that already from Aragon things will go back to the way they were before Misano...

        @Stonami77

        Sorry but the term Taliban (I hate them by nature and culture) is very offensive to me.

        Can you please find another joking synonym other than this bullshit word?

        I have always respected and respect your opinions even though I think differently but the Taliban really... come on, please...

        Be kind..., thank you ;-) ;-)

    «It was a great GP for us... We managed to do the best race in dry track conditions with Valentino Rossi (it is also the best result ever, NDA). He was consistent from start to finish, something that had never happened to him, managing to defend himself well when braking and entering corners where we always suffered and were always weak. It means that we worked well, following the direction he indicated to us: at Misano we only lacked a bit of grip on the rear. This is the right path to follow."
    Interview with Guareschi, tièz!!! Bunch of Swedish trolls chap them. The direction indicated by the excuser? ahahahahaha MUTE!!!!!!!!!!

    nice race???
    you have some imagination... stoner would have done it, all of you saying how boring... the superbike is better...

    Four frames in 2 months, congratulations, great Ducati!!!

    But…, wouldn't dividing them over the 2012 quarters (one per quarter) rather than the last one in 2012 have been better?

    Unless the story of Audi's influence and block on development is true and then... no one says anything and we continue to talk about nothing...
