250cc – Jerez Test Day 2 – Best time for Bautista

Alvaro Bautista set the best time on the second day of quarter-liter testing in Jerez de la Frontera. The Team Mapfre Aspar driver in fact stopped the clock at a time of 1:43.068, ahead of his compatriot Hector Barbera (1:43.093) and reigning champion Marco Simoncelli in the time list. The Gilera rider lapped in 1:43.196, followed by the category debutant and 2008 125cc champion Mike di Meglio, the Czech Lukas Pesek and the Hungarian Gabor Talmacsi on an Aprilia of Team Balaton Racing.

The Japanese of Team Scot Hiroshi Aoyama is seventh ahead of Roberto Locatelli from Bergamo of Gilera, the Spaniard of Team Aeropuerto-Castello-Blusens Alex Debon and the Honda of Thailand's Ratthapark Wilairot, constantly in the top ten in the 2009 pre-season tests.
