250cc – Indianapolis QP1 – Di Meglio precedes Aoyama and Simoncelli

Surprise in the official qualifying of the 250 class on the Indianapolis track. Mike Di Meglio conquered his first career pole position among the 250cc, preceding Hiroshi Aoyama on the front row and Marco Simoncelli, who slipped again among the many riders during this test session.

In addition to the reigning world champion, Debon, Luthi and Di Meglio himself also made mistakes in the same corner, who got back on the bike and put himself in front of everyone on the grid with a perfect lap. Things went worse for his teammate and title contender, Alvaro Bautista, only sixth and also preceded by Jules Cluzel who confirmed himself at the top after yesterday's best time in the wet.
