If you want to bet on the 250cc and your name is Jorge Lorenzo, you have your money insured. Cataclysms aside, no one seems able to stop the Fortuna Aprilia rider on the English Donington Park track: after a dominating morning, even in the afternoon (first round of official qualifying) "Porfuera" dictated the law of the strongest, signing the provisional pole in 1'32"115, usually half a second ahead of Alex De Angelis and Hector Barbera, returning and immediately able to place himself in third position.

The Aprilia Factory trio is therefore in the lead, with Andrea Dovizioso fourth battling with a Honda that continues to always pay something compared to the Noale bikes. Dovi was also troubled by Hiroshi Aoyama, fifth, with a KTM that has some more references in light of the debut made here with Anthony West last year. Surprise for Sunday in sight?…
