Pol Espargaro achieved the best performance again in the last free practice session of the 125 class at Mugello. The Spanish Tuenti Racing driver with his Derbi stopped the clock at 1'58.454, prevailing by a few thousandths over Nicolas Terol and Marc Marquez behind him, enclosed in only 0 ″ 078.

In fourth place was Bradley Smith, who with the other Aprilia of the Bancaja Aspar team was 4 tenths behind, followed by Sandro Cortese who crashed on his last lap of testing. Danny Webb surprised with the sixth fastest time (Andalucia – Aprilia), ahead of Tomoyoshi Koyama (Racing Team Germany – Aprilia) and Johann Zarco (WTR – Aprilia).

The first of the Italian drivers is Alessandro Tonucci (wild card) who, with the 19th time, does better than his teammates Luigi Morciano and Armando Pontone immediately behind him.

Twenty-fourth is Lorenzo Savadori ahead of Riccardo Moretti, 28th Gabrielli, 29th Marconi, 30th Tarozzi and last Grotzkyj Giorgi and Ravaioli.
