After the excellent performances of the last round of the MotoGP World Championship on the Le Mans circuit in France, Lorenzo Savadori, standard bearer of the Fontana Racing Team riding an Aprilia RSA 125cc motorbike, is ready to face one of the most important tests for every rider Italian, the Mugello stage. This time the young man from Cesena is determined to bring home a good result, after almost doing so last Sunday in Le Mans. In fact, in the second free practice session on Saturday morning he was actually 12th overall.

Then, in the only official practice session on Saturday afternoon, he managed to grab a nice 7th place on a damp asphalt before having a harmless crash just two minutes from the end, ending the day in 21st place. The race took place on a wet track and Lorenzo managed to make a good comeback from his position on the starting grid which saw him move to 13th place with six laps to go. Unfortunately, as happened to 23 out of 31 pilots, in these very prohibitive conditions, he too ended up on the ground, thus concluding the French episode. It's time to breathe the air of home and on the weekend of May 31st we will race in Tuscany, on the very fast Mugello circuit. Lorenzo Savadori is determined to do well in front of his fans and the team is confident.

Lorenzo Savadori: “I'm very sorry for the crash at Le Mans, I could have scored my first points in the World Championship and it was a real shame both for my morale and for my team. At Mugello there will be some new things for me both on a technical and personal level and I can't wait to get back on track. I know the Tuscan track very well, then on that occasion there will be the Italian wild cards, almost all of them former adversaries of mine. I am very motivated and my goal is to finish in the top 10, it would be a great satisfaction for me, for my team, and for my manager Roby.”
