125cc – Donington Park Warm Up – Di Meglio leaves everyone behind

Wet Warm Up also for the 125cc, and the day's races will most likely take place in the same weather conditions. With the rain Mike Di Meglio historically shines, and the Frenchman from Cirano Mularoni's Kopron Scot team set the best time in 1'52"704, confirming a certain predilection for these difficult climatic conditions. Di Meglio literally swept away his opponents in the warm-up, just think that his closest pursuer (our Raffaele De Rosa) is a good 1″ 454 behind. With important gaps, Gabor Talmacsi and a couple of surprises follow, by the name of Sandro Cortese and a rediscovered Pablo Nieto.

Sixth is Simone Corsi, behind him Faubel, Pesek, Olive and Dominique Aegerter, never so high on the Aprilia of Fiorenzo Caponera's team. The eleventh place of the American Steve Bonsey is surprising, as he is highly decorated in dirt track and, consequently, decidedly at ease in conditions of poor grip. Pasini is 14th ahead of Tamburini, followed by everyone else: now we enter the race climate, starting with the 250cc.
