125cc – Aragon Free Practice 1 – Rain stops practice with Terol in the lead

Rain-conditioned free practice in the 125 class at Motorland Aragon. In the last few minutes the rain intensified, thus forcing the riders to return to the pits, with the classification seeing Nico Terol obtain the best time in 2'04.580 in the dry, leaving Pol Espargaro behind by 2 tenths, the teammate at Bancaja Aspar Team Bradley Smith.

Surprisingly in the top positions we find the Aprilias of Racing Team Germany of Tomoyoshi Koyama and Jakub Kornfeil in fourth and fifth place, followed by Salom, Rossi and the wild card Sebestyen.

Only 23rd was Marc Marquez who completed a few laps, also seeing himself preceded by Alejandro Pardo (19th) making his debut in the world championship with the Aprilia of the Matteoni team in place of the injured Lorenzo Savadori, who suffered a crash.

25th is Marco Ravaioli with the Lambretta, Simone Grotzkyj Giorgi did not lap with the Fontana Racing Aprilia. Luca Marconi, who has concluded the contract with the Ongetta Team, is not racing.
