125cc: 100 Grands Prix at Le Mans for Nico Terol
Nico Terol arrives at Le Mans as the dominator of this start to the championship. The Spanish driver of Team Bankia Aspar has in fact won the first three races of the season and will be looking for poker at Le Mans. In France he will then celebrate 100 Grands Prix in the world championship, an important milestone for his career. The word is up to him.
“Winning the opening three races of the season is out of the ordinary and I never thought I could start the year like this. We have to take advantage of our good form, but also keep our feet on the ground because the championship has just started. I'm very motivated ahead of the trip to Le Mans, because it's a circuit I have good memories of after achieving my first pole last year. It's quite slow and has some twisty sections and you need good acceleration to "get you out of..." the frequent braking. The weather in France can be variable so we have to be ready for anything. My goal is to fight for victory, it would be nice to celebrate my 100th Grand Prix with a victory.”
